We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with you here in Germany. Here, you’ll get a glimpse into our story, find everything you need to know about the wedding, and discover all the details to help you be part of our special day.

WHERE FOREVER BEGAN

Under a sky full of glowworms.

The next chapter of our story was inspired by one of our earliest magical moments together, a secluded glowworm cave at Poukura Marae, a hidden place known only to those who know where to find it.

On 15 December 2025, we found ourselves once again surrounded by the remarkable glow of countless glowworms. Beneath what felt like a galaxy of tiny lights in the Waipu Caves, the words “Will you marry me?” echoed from the cave walls, followed by the answer that would begin our next chapter: “Yes.”

The lights, the darkness, and the stillness of that moment have become an enduring part of our story and continue to inspire many of the themes that represent our love.

TRAVEL

Getting to Germany

For those travelling from further afield, Frankfurt Airport is the closest major airport to the wedding location. Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden and Stuttgart are also good alternatives.

Where possible, we would love to help arrange airport pick-ups for our guests. To make this possible, we’ll need to coordinate arrival times in advance, so please let us know your travel plans once they are confirmed.

If you prefer to travel by train, connections and tickets can be found through the Deutsche Bahn website.

Accommodation options near the venue, as well as the possibility of arranging shuttle services on the night of the wedding, are currently being explored. We’ll share further details as soon as arrangements are confirmed.

What is December weather like?

Expect winter weather: cool temperatures, short days and the possibility of rain, mist or frost. Snow is possible, but not something to plan around.

Can children attend?

We would love for your children to be part of our special day, and childcare will also be provided so everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration.

Will there be wedding-day transport?

We are working on it.

What can I gift the newlyweds?

The greatest gift is simply having you there to share our special day with us, celebrating together, enjoying each other’s company, and bringing together the people who have been part of our lives.

Should you still wish to give us something, we would be incredibly grateful for a financial contribution towards our future together and the beginning of our married life.
